The quote I liked was that "Are you not bound to love them as you love yourself?" Why did I chose this one because if you don't love the people who surround you how are you going to love yourself. So why not just give that respect to those who really deserve your love.

My Life as a Taino

Dear Journal
A few days ago a person was talking to me and her name was Tilitaki. She was telling me she was getting raiped by the one of the spanish man that have just came to our island. By the look on her face you could of tell she wanted to die. Today in in the morning when each person came out of there huts she was hanging from a tree naked with a rpr around her neck. The most terrible thing was that she had a big words all over her body that said "DON'T LIVE IN THIS WORLD ANY MORE IF YOUR JUST SUFFERING." Right now I'm sitting inside my hut listening and watching how a person gets their head cut off for not doing there work. I'm so hungry I could even feel my baby moving inside me. Well I think I'm going to let you go dear journal before i get my head cut off too.

Expectations

1)expectations I have for myself in life:
Respect the people who surround me.
2)expectations I have for myself at school:
Love each person/student.
4)expectations I have for my fellow students at school:
To not jugde no one for how they look.
5)expectations I have for my child:
For her to achieve more than what I did in life.
6)expectations I have for the nursery regarding my child:
Respect the motherds back as well.

Seedfolks

The book was about so many characteristics. All the peolpe had a special plant that reminded them of something in their past. Each one of them had so many different emotions towards that special plant. All of them had a sad story too.
